Paul founded Cliffbrook Capital in 2018 and is responsible for developing new commercial real estate products and investment strategies across the capital structure. Prior to founding Cliffbrook Capital, Paul was Managing Director and Head of Real Estate for Blackstone Australia.

Paul joined Blackstone’s London office in 2008 and relocated to Sydney in 2012 to set up Blackstone’s Australian real estate private equity business, including building a team of eight real estate professionals and a A$6 billion diversified real estate portfolio. Before joining Blackstone, Paul worked at Goldman Sachs in the Real Estate and Healthcare Groups based in London, Sydney, and New York, where he led the analysis and execution of merger transactions and equity and debt financing across the real estate and healthcare sectors. Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts (Biology / Economics) from Amherst College.

David joined Cliffbrook Capital as Partner and Head of Real Estate Debt in 2019. He is responsible for developing the firm’s real estate debt investment strategies, including origination and management of real estate debt investments.

Prior to joining Cliffbrook Capital, he was Director, Global Credit Trading at Deutsche Bank based in Sydney, leading their commercial real estate financing business. While at Deutsche Bank, David led the underwriting and syndication of over A$4 billion worth of commercial real estate transactions. Prior to Deutsche Bank, David worked at both Macquarie Capital and Rothschild across real estate and infrastructure sectors. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland.

Angela joined Cliffbrook Capital in February 2022 as Director of Operations and Asset Management. She is responsible for the Group’s financial reporting and regulatory & compliance obligations.

Prior to joining Cliffbrook Capital, Angela was Manager Financial Planning at 151 Property, responsible for the financial fund models of Blackstone’s Australian real estate portfolio. While at 151 Property/Valad Property Group, Angela held various management roles in financial analysis, treasury, funds management and corporate financial due diligence. She began her career with PwC working in transaction services and financial services audit. Angela holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia & New Zealand.

Hamish joined Cliffbrook Capital in August 2021 as an Associate. Hamish previously worked within the Group Investments team at Stockland. During the five years Hamish spent at Stockland, he worked within the Research and Strategy team and the Group Investments team with a primary focus on development site acquisitions across residential and industrial markets.

Hamish holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney and a Master of Financial Analysis from the University of New South Wales.

Luke joined Cliffbrook Capital in July 2023 as an Associate. Luke was previously an Associate working within the Asset Management team at Bellwether Asset Management. During the three years Luke spent at Bellwether, he worked with the Debt Team with a primary focus on office, hotel, and multifamily loans across various markets in the USA.

Luke holds a Bachelor of Business Economics from the University of California Los Angeles.

Yvonne joined Cliffbrook Capital in March 2022 as an Analyst. Yvonne previously worked within the Strategy and Research team at Stockland and at Knight Frank. During her time spent at Stockland and Knight Frank, Yvonne has specialised in the commercial property sector with a focus on Office and Industrial markets.

Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics from the University of New South Wales.

Jack joined Cliffbrook Capital in February 2023 as an Analyst. Having previously worked as a Commercial Leasing Executive in Brisbane, Jack has developed a keen passion for the Commercial Property sector and has an in-depth understanding of Australia’s current Commercial Leasing environment.

Jack holds a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Queensland, Majoring in Real Estate and Property Development.

Arnetta joined Cliffbrook Capital in February 2024 as an Investment Intern. Since graduating in June 2024 Arnetta has joined the Cliffbrook team as an Investment Analyst working across new deal origination and asset management. Previously a student at the University of Sydney, Arnetta was awarded the Business School International Scholarship in 2021.

Arnetta holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Sydney, majoring in Finance and Business Analytics.
